TRIO ARMONICORPUS
An innovative ensemble recently founded by accordionist Zsanett Szatzker, trombonist Balázs Kovács, and Erzsébet Seleljo. The ensemble’s unique instrumental combination offers immense sonic potential, which the members of the trio strive to exploit to the fullest. As no original works have yet been written for this instrumentation, the performers create their own arrangements, drawing on music from the past five centuries.
Their programmes feature compositions from all musical periods, ranging from the Renaissance, through Bach and Haydn, to 20th-century composers such as Manuel de Falla and Astor Piazzolla.
